Our History
In 1989, with the purchase of a small lumber supplier to the recreational vehicle industry, Bob Wiley, President, and Bob Wall,
Vice President, formed North American Forest Products, Inc. Over the years we have expanded the markets served to include manufactured housing, mobile offices and facilities, packaging, industrial and retail outlets. Our Sales coverage area
continues to grow as we have increased from primarily two states served to now over twenty four.
Our growth has been attributed to consistently superior service achieved by knowing our customers and their needs. In today's complex and fast paced environment, at North American Forest Products, we have made a name for ourselves with our flexibility and our "We can do that" attitude. Utilizing our people, facilities, and know-how to deliver quality products and unequalled service for our customers is what we're all about.
In 2002 we acquired a local moulding company in Elkhart, Indiana, creating North American Moulding. With this acquisition we have expanded our range of products to include pre-finished, profile wrapped and custom mouldings.
Our Facilities
Since 1989, we have added significantly to our facilities for our Forest Products operations growing from one building to nine. Currently, we have over 200,000 SF of manufacturing and warehouse space. Our buildings are located on two separate parcels of land, with manufacturing facilities located on Kraus Road on 20 acres and our corporate office, warehousing, and rail siding located on 75 acres on May Street, both in Edwardsburg, Michigan.
We have two locations for our Moulding operations, a 100,000 SF facility on April Street, in Edwardsburg, serving our manufacturing and wrapping operations, and a 27,000 SF facility in Elk Park housing our painting operations located in Elkhart, Indiana.
Our equipment and facilitates are clean and well maintained to provide a safe and productive environment for our employees.
Our Employees
At North American Forest Products and North American Moulding, we have over 250 dedicated employees to support our
customers. Our management team has in-depth knowledge of lumber, trusses, engineered products and moulding to assist
our customers in their product design and application. We offer a complete line of in-house services from sales
representatives, engineering, production, and shipping on our own fleet of trucks.
